This coming Wednesday, June 25th, we’re going to do things a little way different than normal. We’re going to go kayaking in Athens and then hang out alongside the river; play games, and grill out. We will not be having a Wednesday night service. Here’s what you need to know:
Time Details
We’re going to meet Wednesday morning at 9:00 at the Warehouse. We will be there all day so it will be late afternoon when we return (we will call the parents and post on social media when we are leaving Athens to give you a more exact timeline).
The River
The river is not very deep, and rather calm. Every one will be in a kayak by themselves, but we will be staying together as a group. All of the students under 18 will have to keep their lifejacket on while they are on the river.
You need to bring:

Swimsuit (girls wear a one piece, or a dark t-shirt)
Shoes suitable for water
Towel
Drinking Water
Snack food (we’ll make a pitstop along the river for a snack break- make sure you put it in a ziplock baggie so it stays dry)
